Nigeria 🇳🇬1 vs1 Egypt 🇪🇬 the Salah denied Eagles

Mohammed Salah scored a late equaliser to rescue Egypt from defeat as they drew 1-1 in their third Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game against Nigeria.

Etebo Oghenekaro slotted past Ahmed El-Shennawi to give Samson Siasia’s side a deserved lead against the Pharaohs who were dogged in defence.

Kelechi Iheanacho hit the crossbar with a fierce shot and the Warri Wolves midfielder tuck home the rebound to north Africans’ dismay.

Nigeria thought they had won the game in the 90th minute when Salah beat the offside trap to fire past impressive Carl Ikeme to save Hector Cuper’s side from defeat.

Super Eagles continue to trail Group G leaders Pharaohs by two points, while Tanzania are back up to third in the table, three points adrift Egypt in the race to Gabon 2017.

Samson Siasia’s men struggled for rhythm in the early stages of the match as they often gave the ball away cheaply in the final third of the pitch, with Simon Moses being particularly wasteful when in an advanced position.

Egypt should have taken the lead when Ahmed Hassan was played behind the Eagles’ defence and put one-on-one with Ikeme but he couldn’t find the target firing his left-footed shot wide of the post.

The home side were looking dangerous and Cuper’s men were grateful to El-Shennawi who made a great block to deny Ahmed Musa’s goal-bound effort after the striker had found space inside the area.

Google play store account issue solution

Many of us has had and
Some still facing some serious issue with their Google play store
Most of you abandoned your phone or even selling it at cheaper rate or managing it
Here are some tips and trickery that might just made your day
7 easy way out

1. Clear the Google Play Store Cache
In most cases, you can stop the Play Store faltering just by emptying the app's cache. The cache is a storage area that temporarily holds data so it can be quickly retrieved without needing to be reloaded. To empty the cache:
Go to Settings > Apps > Downloaded or scroll to All > Google Play Store then finally tap the Clear cache button.
2. Clear Out Your Play Store Data
Deleting your data from the Play Store will sets the app back to square one and gets rid of your saved information, hopefully including whatever data was causing the problem,
As with the previous tip, go to Settings > Apps > Google Play Store, but this time tap Clear data.
3. Uninstall Play Store Updates
Sometimes an update to your Play Store app will do more harm than good. If you think that's the case, kindly uninstall that update.
Go to Settings > Apps > Google Play Store, then tap the button that says Uninstall updates. This will revert Google Play back to the original version (as it appeared when it was first installed on your device).
After that, you'll need to find an older – but still recent – version of the Play Store app to download. The best way to do this is by going to the Google Play Store page on APK Mirror here and download it from there.
4. Clear Data and Cache on Google Play Services
Go to Settings> Apps > All > Google Play services then tap the Clear cache button. If that fails to solve the problem, tap the Clear data button.
5. Reset Your Google Account on Your Phone
If your Play Store app still not normal, then you may need to refresh your Google account on your Android device. To do this, remove your account then add it again.
Go to Settings > Accounts then tap Google. Tap the Google account you want to remove, then tap the menu icon (three dots) at the top right and tap Remove. Do this for every Google account on your device.
After that, go to Settings > Accounts > Add Account > Google and add follow the on screen instructions
To again add your account.
6. Enable Download Manager
There is a chance that the Play Store will stop working if your download manager is disabled. If this is the case, the solution is simple.
Go to Settings > Apps / Application Manager > All > Download Manager.
If Download Manager is disabled, you'll see a button marked Enable,
Simply tap this button to switch Download Manager back ON.
7. For Rooted Device: edit Hosts File
If the Play Store refused to load and your device is rooted, you have an even simpler solution on your hand: just modify your Hosts file for a quick fix.
Go to your preferred file manager (Es FileExplorer is highly recommended), then navigate to system/etc/hosts and select the Edit option (this will vary between devices). Add a hashtag (#) to the front of the second set of numbers and save your changes (i.e. change from 8080 to #8080).
Reboot your device; re-add your Google account and your Google Play Store problems should be fixed.

New Mobile Trojan, Golem, Is Able To Simulate ‘Active-User’ Behavior

A dangerous new Android trojan dubbed Golem (a variant of the Ghost Push virus), has been discovered by Cheetah Mobile Security Research Lab and is spreading rapidly around the world. Golem is still in an early stage, but we’ve detected over 40,000 infected Android users, and that number is rising quickly.

Since ads that pay for app installs typically require open an app and use it after downloading, Golem’s automated user gestures for swiping and scrolling further complicate meaningful analytics and fraudulently earn money for the criminals behind the malware.

How Golem works

Common knowledge for Android developers, all Android devices have been pre-loaded with a system command tool: ‘Input.’ The ‘Input’ command tool is designed to help developers conduct automated testing and is mainly used to send commands for simulating operations across devices. Generally, legitimate applications have no privilege to execute this tool, but malware with root privileges are able to utilize it.

The Golem Trojan family gains root privilege and leaves a backdoor for Golem to leverage this tool. Golem can pull command codes like ‘tap,’ ‘swipe,’ and ‘press’ from a cloud server and execute these codes with the ‘Input’ command tool to operate apps automatically. Every time Golem is activated, it will download updated command code from the cloud server to launch apps and simulate users tapping, sliding and scrolling through app pages.

How Golem compromises your device

Since Golem can control devices remotely and automatically launch and run applications without a user’s consent, these malicious behaviors will consume a lot of network data, battery power, and local device resources, slowing down phones as a result.

Who’s behind this awful trojan?

Golem is a new member of the Ghost Push root trojan family and is playing an important role in the black market profit chain. In the previous reports regarding Ghost Push and the underground app distribution chain behind it, we constantly mentioned that this trojan family is capable of installing unwanted and annoying apps on infected devices.

However, now that the malicious behavior has moved beyond just installing useless applications on your devices, it is acting on behalf of users.

Undoubtedly, the Golem trojan is developed by the financially motivated attacker to make more profits. As Golem is able to simulate actions to pretend to be a human user, the attackers will get a lot more money from advertisers.

For instance, if the attackers can get $1 by installing a promoted app on one device, they may be able to get $2 or more if the app has actually been opened and used. (Or if attackers make the advertisers believe that the app has been used.)

Golem - a new Android trojan trend!

Considering the huge economic value of this root trojan profit chain, experts believe that the malicious behaviors of Golem probably indicate a new trend among Android trojans.

Fortunately, security companies around the world are trying their best to defeat these evils and protect users.

So far, almost all countries have been affected by this Trojan and the most severely affected area is India and Southeast Asia. The top 3 worst-hit countries are India, Indonesia, and Philippines.

Top 10 countries by number of infected users

(As the data is based on Cheetah Mobile’s security products, the overall infection amount could be much bigger)

How to get rid of Golem?

Besides CM Security, and Clean Master, the specialized Stubborn Trojan Killer is able to identify and kill this terrible Trojan in seconds. CM Security Lab reminds users to download apps only from reputable app stores, like Google Play, for example.

Pre-register now for the new Samsung Galaxy s7 and s7 edge, you might just get lucky

After months of speculation, Samsung Electronics West Africa has announced that its latest flagship phones in its long line of Galaxy devices will be available for pre-registration in Nigeria from March 1st, 2016. The smartphones on offer are the alluring Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge available in 32GB with expandable memory slot of 200 GB.

Emmanouil Revmatas, Director of Information Technology and Mobile, Samsung, said that Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge represent the new galaxy of unlimited possibilities. “Samsung did not just redefine these devices but also re-imagined what they could do based on the feedback from the people who use them, and what they need most from the devices. Our customers are the inspiration for any innovation. These devices do not only look great but feel great as well and comfortable to hold. They are sleeker with smoother edges and lines,” added Revmatas.

The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge were first unveiled on February 21st at the Samsung Unpacked event held at the Mobile World Congress (MWC), Barcelona, Spain. The Galaxy S7 has a 5.1-inch display screen, while the Galaxy S7 edge has a 5.5-inch screen. They both feature Super AMOLED display, allowing for clearer videos and images with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 (Quad HD).

Both devices have support for microSD cards augmenting their 32GB of internal storage, as well as IP68 water and dust resistance feature, which allow for submersion in up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes at a time. The S7’s waterproofing includes sealed ports, so there are no fussy port covers over the USB ports or headphone jacks.

Even though the S7 series do not have removable batteries, they come with longer lasting batteries to keep users going all day long. The S7 comes with 3,000mAh battery, while the S7 edge has 3,600mAh battery. One of the new features is the always-on display where notifications, time, date or personalised screen are permanently shown on the screen even when the phone is off. This feature does not significantly impact the battery life as it uses just 1 percent of the battery power per hour. Also, both phones retain Samsung’s adaptive fast-charging and fast wireless charging features.
The devices also feature a ‘Dual Pixel’ rear camera with large F1.7 aperture with Smart OIS feature. The adoption of dual pixel technology means that the autofocus on each of the Samsung Galaxy S7 series is much quicker, producing sharper and brighter images– even when capturing precious memories in dimly lit environment.
One particularly exciting feature is that both devices run on the latest version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, have 4GB of RAM for improved multitasking and 30 percent more powerful processors with “thermal spreader” water-cooling technology to avoid the phones overheating.
The devices are available in Black Onyx, Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium. To pre-register for either of the new smart devices, customers can visit www.samsungs7.ng ; the network providers, MTN, Airtel, Etisalat and GLO; Samsung Experience Stores as well as select retail partners nationwide.
Samsung will be giving out free back cover for all pre-registered customers who make a purchase from any authorized Samsung retail store nationwide, offer valid while stock lasts. Plus the first 50 pre-registered customers to make a purchase at select Stores will get a free Samsung virtual reality device, Gear VR). View list of select stores on www.samsungs7.ng. Terms and Condition apply.

Facebook Now gives us more ways to push button

Facebook on Wednesday rolled out a new set of options for its 1.5 billion monthly users to use when responding to posts in their News Feeds.

The six "Reactions," as Facebook has termed them, allow users to make more nuanced responses to posts rather than simply clicking on "Like."

"We've been listening to people and know that there should be more ways to easily and quickly express how something you see in News Feed makes you feel," explained Sammi Krug, product manager at Facebook. "That's why today we are launching Reactions, an extension of the Like button, to give you more ways to share your reaction to a post in a quick and easy way."

The additional options are Love, Haha, Wow, Sad and Angry. When users scroll over the standard Like button, the new emojis pop up.

GLO and Mtn in soup as NCC fines Them Again

From NCC to Nollywood lolz

As Mtn and NCC are at it again this time not just Mtn, Glo included

Not long Federal government denied the knowledge of payment of $250 fine by Mtn

The Nigerian Communications (NCC)

Again, fined
Mtn Nigeria and Globacom Ltd (Glo) a total of N34 million for breach of the Mobile Number Portability (MNP) business rules and regulations.

The regulatory body made this known in its “2015 Q4 Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Reports’’ obtained by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Lagos.

In the report, NCC noted that of the N34 million sanction for number porting breach, Globacom was fined N22 million, while MTN was fined N12 million.

It will be recalled that in the “2015 Q3 Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Reports’’, NCC had resolved to monitor and sanction violations with MNP process time obligations said “to address the increasing cases of port request rejections’’.

The commission said that series of compliance checks were carried out regarding timer violations by Donor operators with respect to “validation and deactivation responses’’ which had timelines of 2 hours and 1 hour respectively.

According to the Q3 report, there is a timer deactivation violation by MTN, regarding a Corporate Port request of over 109 lines belonging to Nigerian Breweries Plc.
